About the event

ETHDenver bills itself as the world’s largest and longest-running Ethereum “BUIDLathon” – part hackathon, part conference, part community festival. The 2026 edition drew more than 25,000 attendees from over 125 countries, and the 2027 edition is expected to return to Denver on a similar scale, though the organizing collective, SporkDAO, had not yet confirmed exact 2027 dates at the time of writing.

The event combines a multi-day hackathon with hundreds of teams building live, a full conference track covering DeFi, infrastructure, and governance, and a sprawling calendar of side events and parties across the city.

Attendance is free for builders, which has made ETHDenver one of the more accessible entry points into the Ethereum developer community, alongside its reputation as a launchpad for new projects.
